Pittman wins Moondancer Fellowship

Rachel Pittman was selected from 24 applications received from writers across the United States to receive the 2022 Moondancer Fellowship, the Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow has announced.

The fellowship was open to poets, fiction writers, playwrights, essayists, columnists, memoirists, and screenwriters who expressed their love of nature and concern for the environment through their writing.

Pittman’s poetry has appeared in Miniskirt magazine, Stillpoint Literary Magazine, Whale Road Review, Von Aegir Literary, and Gingerbread House. Her fiction has appeared in Gingerbread House and Helix Magazine. Her work has been honored with the John Wood Poetry Prize.
